We mastered our craft and cracked the business side wide open—and now, we want to share that same success with YOU. Jenna’s Story
From a young age I always envisioned a career in the beauty industry. My heart has always been set on building confidence in women, and I've transformed that passion into a thriving beauty empire.
As I pursued my bachelor's degree in business, I decided to take a leap and embark on my journey as an entrepreneur, launching my own eyelash extension business. In just 6 months, I grew my weekly client base to 30-40 clients. It was a testament to the power of determination and dreams. A year into my lash journey, I ventured further into the world of cosmetic tattooing services, expanding my horizons and unlocking new possibilities. And now, my path leads me to the role of an educator, where I aspire to empower and guide women to become their own boss.
I was proudly voted Brisbane's Best Lash Technician in 2022. This recognition drives my excitement to share every tip and trick I've gathered on this remarkable journey with my students, igniting their own lash careers. My ultimate goal isn't just to educate; it's to cultivate a vibrant community of like-minded individuals, united in their passion for beauty.

My lash mentoring is a culmination of my experiences, greatest successes and time saving failures - designed to offer you a foolproof learning experience, ensuring you emerge not just an in demand and highly skilled but also a business-savvy entrepreneur. - I’m South African and moved to Australia when I was 12 (2009)

- I love being social, meeting people and building connections, that’s why I love my job so much!
- Out of all the services I offer (lashes, lip & brow tattoo, skin treatments, brow sculpting, fibroblasting, lash lifts), hand made wispy lashes and lip tattoo are my favourite to perform!
Megan's Story
My path to becoming a lash artist and founder of Cultivated Beauty Academy isn’t what you might expect. I started in finance, armed with a business degree and a career that revolved around numbers and strategy. But there was a creative spark inside me that spreadsheets couldn’t satisfy — and it finally ignited in a beauty room.
I saw the potential of the beauty industry and decided to blend my business knowledge with my love for beauty. What began as a side hustle turned into something life-changing. In just three years, I achieved financial freedom and bought two homes. I realised I wanted to help others do the same.
That’s how Cultivated Beauty Academy was born — out of a belief that anyone can turn their passion into a thriving career. Lashing isn’t just about enhancing someone’s appearance; it’s a skill that can open doors to independence and success.
My mission is to give aspiring lash techs both the technical skills and the business mindset they need to succeed. And the best part? I get to do it all with my bestie by my side.
Behind the Artist
- I’m a 30 year old, UK born girly.
- I have a SICK obsession with the Kardashians and anything pop culture. Jenna often likes to use the phrase "Kris Jenner works hard, but Megan works harder" and I couldn't be prouder when I hear that lol
- I LOVE maths and spreadsheets & have worked in finance for over 5 years which massively helps me with the business side of things.
- I own two properties which is a HUGE milestone for me, and I am well and truly on my way into my third (watch this space)!!
- Give me Pizza, Gnocchi or GYG and I will smack it back any time of day.
- I am literally the girl that constantly has a resting b*tch face but I am probably just thinking about Cultivated, or pizza... and as soon as you talk to me I'll be the smiliest gal most positive gal (too much botox, maybe?).
